Entry Level Sales Support/Data Entry Asst.-Security Installation

Primary Role:

Responsible for carrying out the company's mission, goals and objectives. Supports the Director of Security and works directly with clients and third parties to provide the highest level of customer service. Works internally with the purchasing, warehouse and operations departments to prepare and generate information for effective customer service and warranty.

What You’ll Do:

  • Interact with the Director of Security and security department, assisting with day-to-day issues and helping create cohesion across the department and cross-functionally
  • Prepare and generate new quotes for customers
  • Handling incoming client communications, both emails and phone calls
  • Tracking status of client orders and providing updates of order status
  • Obtaining presales information such as freight costs, lead time and product specifications
  • Entry of client information accurately into sales databases
  • Deal registration for projects when appropriate
  • Proactively follow up on quotes previously submitted, as well as tracking of Service and Engineering requests
  • Prioritize and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing best-in-class customer service
  • Ensure sales documents and customer-facing materials are kept up to date
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, providing updates on progress, issues and/or successes
  • Additional duties as assigned

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be responsible, self-motivate, self-starter, personable and well organized
  • Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G Suite, D-Tools, CRM and sales databases or similar software
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute projects on or before established due dates
  • Maintaining confidentiality in sensitive customer situations, while assisting the account manager toward resolution
  • Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation
